Accounting Analyst

Location: Hybrid in Seattle, WA
Contract Type: Contract-to-Hire
Compensation: Competitive market rate (Estimated range: $75,000–$95,000 annually DOE)

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Analyst for a hybrid contract-to-hire opportunity in Seattle, WA . This role is ideal for a finance professional with strong analytical skills who enjoys reviewing, reconciling, and interpreting financial data to support management decision-making. The Accounting Analyst will assist in reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and ensuring accuracy and compliance across accounting operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, review, and reconcile general ledger accounts on a monthly basis

• Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations

• Analyze financial data and provide insights to support business decisions

• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis

• Prepare reports for management, including financial summaries and ad hoc analyses

• Support audits by preparing schedules and responding to auditor inquiries

• Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and company policies

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve accounting processes and data integrity

• Identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and efficiencies

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• 2–5 years of accounting experience, preferably with financial analysis or general ledger focus

• Strong understanding of GAAP and month-end close processes

• Proficiency in Excel and accounting/ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or similar)

• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills

• Strong communication skills for collaboration across departments

• CPA designation preferred, but not required

Schedule:
Hybrid work model (3 days onsite in Seattle, 2 days remote per week)
