Duties

Representative acts as the intermediary between the company and the Customer located at the paint facility to assure a smooth flow of material to the customer to meet build demand.

• · Procuring the correct finished parts from our manufacturing facility in Louisville
• · Monitoring paint progression to ensure the correct parts are available when they need to ship to the Customer
• · Overseeing shipping ASNs through SAP while coaching CSR on issues to resolve
• · Controlling facilities inventory movements through SAP
• · Monitoring the Customer supplier portal to make sure parts are being sequenced and shipped to meet demand
• · Communicating with the plant, the painter, Penske/Customer, and carriers running to and from the facility
• · Must be willing to work rotating shifts between nights and days to cover all shift and team outages. Shifts run from 6am-2:30pm for 1st shift and 2:00pm-10:30pm for 2nd shift all week, possible Saturday and Sunday overtime depending on customer demand for the weekend.
• · The individual will work closely with the painter’s materials supervisor and floor employees to accomplish necessary tasks around the facility requiring leadership skills to accomplish compliance with requests.
• · The position will require completion of other tasks as assigned by the materials manager.

Skills Required

• · Intermediate computer skills required including use of excel and SAP as you will generally be managing multiple programs, files, and screens at the same time to accomplish work
• · Strong critical thinking, organization, communication, writing and interpersonal skills
• · Capacity to work autonomously with little to no direction to accomplish all work tasks
• · Ability to deal with multiple projects and stressful situations
• · Willingness to work overtime as needed
• · Ability to work standing majority of the shift
• · Leadership experience preferred
• · Excel experience is required; SAP experience is a preferred
• · Ability to speak English and Spanish is a preferred
